Ingredients:
- 1 lb of ground turkey
- 1/4 bread crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced scallions
- 1 pkg bacon
- 20 large appetizer picks
Instructions:
Light grill outdoors or turn on electric grill on medium high heat.
Mince cloves and scallions.
Mix turkey, bread crumbs, salt, cumin, chili powder, BBQ sauce, pepper, garlic, and scallions in a mixing bowl. Mix ingredients with hands just until combined.
Spray hands with cooking spray, or lightly oil with olive oil and make 15 to twenty 1 1/2 inch meatballs by pinching the meat and rolling it with your hands.
Wrap meat balls in bacon and places them with the bacon ends down in a basket made for barbecuing.
Place meat balls on the grill and cook for 10 to 12 minutes turning frequently to keep bacon and meatballs from burning. Baste appetizers with extra barbeque sauce. Appetizers are done when the bacon is crisp. Serve on a toothpick.
