- 1/8 cups warm water (110 degrees F/45C)
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 tablespoons vital wheat gluten
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon dry milk powder
- 1 ½ tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 1 ½ teaspoons active dry yeast
Place water, salt, honey, butter and yeast in bread machine pan first and let yeast dissolve for 10 minutes. Then add dry ingredients. Set bread machine settings to wheat and light crust.
Makes 1- 1 ½ lb loaf.
